KUWAIT, Sept 1 (KUNA) -- Chairman of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Dr. Essam Al-Rubaiaan affirmed the Commission's keenness to strengthen cooperation and integration with its counterparts in GCC countries to advance government performance.
Speaking at the 28th meeting of GCC Civil Service and Administrative Development Undersecretaries, Al-Rubaiaan said the meeting serves as a valuable platform for exchanging expertise and supporting joint development efforts, in line with the aspirations of GCC leadership and peoples.
He praised the efforts of the GCC Secretariat, technical committees, and specialized working teams, expressing confidence that the meeting would yield constructive recommendations that contribute to administrative development and human resource advancement across the region.
Meanwhile, GCC Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs Khalid Al-Sunaidi lauded Kuwait's continued support for joint Gulf initiatives, noting the region's tangible progress in digital transformation and institutional development.
He pointed to the GCC's improved position in the UN 2024 E-Government Development Survey, as a reflection of the efficiency of government services and their alignment with technological advancements.
The meeting also discuss improving service quality standards, developing innovative tools to measure institutional maturity, strategic workforce planning, and exploring employment opportunities in artificial intelligence to support digital transformation and sustainable human resources development under the 2026-2030 strategy.
