RIYADH, Aug 26 (KUNA) -- Saudi Arabia condemned Israeli occupation incursion into Syrian border, calling a flagrant violation of Syria's sovereignty In a statement by the Foreign Ministry, the Kingdom expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the continued violations by the Israeli occupation, including incursions into Syrian territories and its interference in its internal affairs.
The ministry said this act constitutes "a flagrant violation" of Syrian sovereignty and international law.
It also violates "the Disengagement Agreement signed between Syria and Israel occupation in 1974, which comes amid the tension in the situation in the Suwayda Governorate." Saudi Arabia called on the international community to support Syria's right to sovereignty and to work toward ensuring peace and stability, in light of continued violations by the Israeli occupation.
