CAIRO, Aug 4 (KUNA) -- Acting Deputy Director General of the Public Authority for Sport (PAS) Haya Al-Dahham underlined Monday on the importance of understanding laws or regulations related to sports to ensure integrity in sports arbitration.
Al-Dahham stated this to KUNA after her participation in the Fourth Arab Conference on Sports and Law organized by the Arab organization for Administrative Development under the title "Arbitration in Sports Disputes in Light of International Developments." She stressed the importance of benefiting from national experiences in other Arab countries in the field of sports arbitration, as well as to keep pace with global standards when it comes to resolving sports disputes.
Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ashraf Sobhy opened the panel with a speech, praising these events to enhance cooperation between Arab countries in the field of sports. (end) mm.sas
