BRUSSELS, July 24 (KUNA) -- The European Union said on Thursday it is "deeply concerned" over rising tensions at the border between Cambodia and Thailand, following reports of civilian casualties in recent clashes.
EU spokesperson Anwar Al Anouani said in a post on X, "The European Union is deeply concerned by rising tensions at the border between Cambodia and Thailand, with reports of civilian casualties." He called on both sides to "de-escalate and resolve disputes through dialogue and other peaceful means in line with international law, including the UN Charter". (end) arn.hb
