KUWAIT, July 19 (KUNA) -- The National Council for Culture, Arts and Literature (NCCAL) organized on Saturday an Arabic calligraphy workshop at Modern Art Museum, as part of the 17th Summer Cultural Festival.
During the workshop, calligrapher Humoud Al-Jafran offered basics of Arabic calligraphy, its history and types, as well as how to train participants on tools, ink and techniques used while writing.
The three-day event aims to educate trainers on the fine types of writing through practices and dealing with mistakes while portraying, he told KUNA.
The workshop seeks to enrich artistic and cultural arena in Kuwait during summer. (end)
