JEDDAH, July 17 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Hussein Taha on Thursday expressed sincere condolences to the Iraqi leadership and people over the victims of the fire at a shopping mall in the city of Kut.
In a statement, he expressed sympathy with the families of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
The Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced earlier today that the death toll of the tragic incident of last night had risen to 61. (end) fn.aq
