TIUNIS, July 17 (KUNA) -- Libya strongly condemned on Thursday the Israeli occupation attacks on Syrian lands, especially those that targeted Sweida and Damascus Governorates.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said that it's a blatant violation to Syrian's sovereignty and all international laws, adding that aggressive acts will complicate the security and humanitarian situation in the region.
It stressed absolute rejection of any attempts of destabilizing the stability in Syra, and urged the international community to uphold its responsibilities, work to stop the occupation's aggression, and ensure respecting the sovereignty of Syria as a member of the UN.
The ministry called for an end to all hostile actions harming civilians, stressing the need for a comprehensive political solution under UN Resolution 2254, aiming to restore Syrian stability through a Syrian-led transitional process.
The Ministry affirmed Libya's full support for Syria and territorial integrity and solidarity with the Syrian people.
