KUWAIT, July 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) congratulated on Friday the UAE, its government and people on adding Sharjah's Faya to the UNESCO World Heritage List for 2025.
In a statement to KUNA, the NCCAL conveyed the congratulations of Minister of Information and Culture, Minister of State for Youth Affairs and NCCAL President Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi on this move, expressing pride for the UAE's position in preserving heritage.
This cultural accomplishment shows great continued efforts made by the UAE in preserving humanitarian heritage and historic identity in the region, it stated.
The move is an addition to Gulf and Arab efforts aiming to boost heritage presence in international arenas, it noted.
The council wished the UAE everlasting progress, prosperity and successes in highlighting its civilized legacy and cultural contributions globally. (end)
