ISTANBUL, June 29 (KUNA) -- Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday condemned the "heinous" attack that took place in Pakistanآ’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday.
In a post on X platform, Erdogan voiced condolences to the victims of the attack and their families, and wished a speedy recovery of the wounded.
He also conveyed his condolences to the "friendly and brotherly people and government of Pakistan." The Turkish president reiterated his country's support for Pakistan in its fight against terrorism.
At least 13 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 24 people injured on Saturday in an attack near the Afghan border. (end) ta.mt
