RAMALLAH, June 17 (KUNA) -- The Israeli occupation's media reported that Iran launched a missile barrage, Monday, with rockets striking various areas including Haifa, Tel Aviv, and Herzliya.
Air raid sirens were activated across several places in occupied Palestine and were also heard in the West Bank.
Loud explosions were reported due to both direct impacts and interceptions by the Israeli occupation's missile defense systems, with shrapnel falling in several towns within the West Bank.
According to the Arab48 news outlet, citing Hebrew media sources, the Herzliya area near Tel Aviv was subjected to an intense missile attack, and reports indicated that Iran launched between 20 to 30 rockets, one of which directly hit an eight-story residential building, causing significant damage and heavy smoke plumes.
Channel 13 reported a direct hit on a building in central Israel, and confirmed that a rocket also struck an empty passenger bus.
The Israeli occupation emergency services stated that ten individuals were injured while attempting to reach shelters during the missile barrage.
Channel 12 noted that since Friday, Iran has launched approximately 380 ballistic missiles at Israel in 15 consecutive attacks. (end)
