GAZA, May 22 (KUNA) -- At least 107 Palestinian civilians were killed and 247 others injured in the latest wave of airstrikes over the past 24 hours as the Israeli occupation forces have expanded their military onslaught on Gaza Strip.
The victims were rushed to hospitals across Gaza while medical teams battle to treat scores of injured amid severe shortage in medical supplies, local health authorities said on Thursday.
A yet-to-be-specified number of victims are still under debris, the authorities said.
Today's figures rose the number of Palestinian casualties since the start of the war on Gaza to 53,762 martyrs and 122,197 injuries. (end) wab.gb
