BRUSSELS, May 2 (KUNA)--The European Union's statistics office (Eurostat) announced on Friday that the annual inflation rate in the Eurozone remained stable at 2.2 percent in April 2025, the same level recorded in March.
Eurostat reports highlighted that services sector was the largest contributor to the annual inflation rate in the Eurozone, with an increase of 3.9 percent compared to 3.5 percent in March, followed by the food, alcohol, and tobacco sector at 3 percent, up from 2.9 percent in the previous month.
Non-energy industrial goods inflation remained stable at 0.6 percent, while energy prices recorded a notable decline of 3.5 percent compared to 1 percent in March, contributing to a reduction in overall inflationary pressure. (end)
