CAIRO, April 23 (KUNA) -- The 163rd meeting of the Arab League Foreign Ministers began on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Jordan with the participation of several countries including Kuwait.
The agenda of the meeting will cover outcomes of the 162nd and preparations for the upcoming Arab summit to be held in Iraq next May.
Vital issues such as the ongoing Israeli occupation brutal campaign on the Gaza Strip, the Arab peace initiative, finding ways to counter Israeli heinous violations against holy sites in Jerusalem would also be thoroughly discussed during the important gathering.
The attendees would also explore ways to support Palestine and Arab countries affected by the Israeli occupation's confiscation of lands whether in Syria's Golan Heights or in occupied territories in proper Palestine.
Developments in Libya, Yemen, Sudan, Syria, Somalia, and Lebanon, the issue of the Iranian occupation of three Emirati Islands and other paramount topics would be addressed during the gathering.
Inter-Arab cooperation on various fields. and Arab countries relations with regional and international organizations and entities would be addressed by the conferees.
