KUWAIT, April 6 (KUNA) -- Palestinian Ambassador to Kuwait Rami Tahboub said on Sunday artistic action has become one of the main weapons to confront the Israeli occupation and shed light on all facts related to Palestine's cause.
Tahboub made the statement to KUNA on the sidelines of opening artistic activities on Palestine, saying they aim to permanently highlight the Palestinian cause and refute the claims of Israeli occupation about this issue.
Displaying movies will continue for three days, and the biggest show will be on Tuesday at the American University Theater, he stated.
"From Ground Zero" movie was directed by Palestinian Rashid Masharawi, who photographed it in Gaza three weeks after the start of the war of genocide, he said, noting that the movie was nominated for the 100th film festivals in the world.
The activities began today with Gaza Habibiti Photography exhibition by Palestinian photographers who documented life in Gaza without destruction and collected inspiring and diverse stories about Palestinian people, Shahboub pointed out.
The festival, which will last for Thursday, is organized by Palestine Embassy and the American University, Jump Kuwait and others. (end)
