CAIRO, March 26 (KUNA) -- Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdulatty and Palestinian counterpart Mohammad Mustafa discussed on Wednesday efforts to bring calmness and revive the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
A statement by the Foreign Ministry revealed that the two officials exchanged views on the current alarming situations in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank amid serious violations on part of the Israeli occupation and its crimes committed against the Palestinian people.
The Palestinian Foreign Minister expressed gratitude towards Egyptian for its efforts to bring peace in Gaza and its proposals to reconstruct the war-torn region after stability was achieved.
The two also focused on preparing for the Cairo international conference for early recovery and reconstruction of the Gaza Strip and enabling Palestinians to settle in their own lands. (end) asm.gta
