JEDDAH, March 20 (KUNA) -- Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a phone call early on Thursday from President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said.
During the call, they discussed regional developments, topped by the resumption of Israeli aggression on Gaza and efforts to halt the attacks and protect civilians.
The French president praised Saudi Arabia's hosting of the U.S.-Russian dialogue and the talks to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.
Their talks also dealt with several topics of common interest, SPA said.

In separate reports, the SPA said the Crown Prince discussed developments in Gaza with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer who called Prince Mohammad bin Salman. Their talks also dealt with efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.
Starmer praised the Kingdom's hosting of the US-Russian dialogue, SPA said, adding that the two leaders' talks touched on means of boosting the mutual cooperation between Riyadh and London.
SPA also reported that the Crown Prince hosted the visiting Pakistani Prime Minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif at Al-Salam Palace in the Red Sea city of Jeddah. They broached over ways of enhancing cooperation between the two nations in various spheres.
The Pakistani Prime Minister arrived in the Kingdom on Wednesday. (end) fn.rk
