CAIRO, Feb 8 (KUNA) -- Egypt has vehemently condemned Israeli occupation's irresponsible and unacceptable comments against Saudi Arabia calling for a Palestinian state on its soil, as a direct infringement of the kingdom's sovereignty and breach of international law and UN Charter.
In a press release, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs underlined that Egypt emphatically rejects such "unconstrained" remarks that undermine the kingdom's security and sovereignty.
It stressed that the kingdom's security and sovereignty are a red line that cannot be crossed, regarding the stability and security of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and other Arab countries as being closely interlinked.
It, further, warned against such remarks towards the kingdom as a condemnable breach of all diplomatic norms and the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including an independent state in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem on the pre-June 1967 border. (end) ism.mt
