RAMALLAH, July 29 (KUNA) -- The Israeli occupation forces perpetrated three massacres in Gaza on Monday claiming 39 martyrs and injuring 92 Gazans, according to the health authorities in the strip.
They reported that toll of the ongoing aggression on Gaza climbed to 39,363 martyrs and 90,923 injuries.
The authorities revealed that polio was spreading in the war-stricken enclave where the survivors of the occupation hostilities have been struggling to secure clean water. The conditions have become dire amid heaps of trash on the devastated alleys, littered to contaminating materials and rubble, and gathering of many Gazans in narrow places.
There has been spread of other contagious diseases among the estimated two million Gazans, many dwelling in squalid tents, threatened with hunger and children suffering from malnutrition and pollution. (end) nq.rk
