KUWAIT, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- The Kuwait Environment Public Authority (EPA) and the Scientific Center of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences' (KFAS) discussed, Wednesday, means to reduce pollution and promote methods creating a healthy and vibrant ecosystem.
The over-a-decade strategic partnership with the Scientific Centre included several environmental projects that aimed to preserve the environment, as well as spread the environmental awareness as a shared societal responsibility, said EPA's Deputy Director General of Technical Affairs Dr. Abdullah Al-Zaidan to KUNA
The current joint project aims to promote biodiversity, protection of natural habitats, cultivating coral reefs in Kuwait, and other environmental projects, added Al-Zaidan.
KFAS's General Manager Musaed Al-Yaseen told KUNA that the partnership reflected keenness on spreading environmental awareness via developing sustainable plans for a healthy and safe environment. (end)
