KUWAIT, July 31 (KUNA) - The National Assembly will hold a special session Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss a draft of establishing a general commission for elections, in addition to presenting the state's financial status.
The agenda of the special session include discussing the state's financial status in accordance with the text of Article (150) of the Constitution in addition to four reports of the Budgets and Parliamentary Calculation Committee.
It also include a report of the Budgets Committee and the Parliamentary Final Account on a draft law linking the budget of ministries and government departments for the fiscal year (2024/2023) and the Minister of Finance's statement on the economic, financial and monetary conditions for the fiscal year (2024/2023).
Article (150) of the constitution states that "the government provides to the National Assembly a statement on the financial status of the state at least once during each of its legislation terms." (end) fn.aa
