BAGHDAD, June 10 (KUNA) -- Iraq said Saturday that its Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein held a 'purposeful' dialogue with his US counterpart Antony Blinken, during the anti-terror international conference in Riyadh, that led to some "fundamental arrangements" regarding the financial dues with Iran.
Hussein also conducted "high-level" coordination and dialogue with his Omani counterpart Badr al-Busaidi for the same purpose, Iraq's official news agency quoted Foreign Ministry's spokesman Ahmad al-Sahhaf as saying.
Al-Sahaf did not reveal further information about either such arrangements or the financial dues between Iraq and Iran.
Meanwhile, media said Saturday Baghdad released USD three billion of Iran's money frozen in Iraq due to the US sanctions.
Thursday, Riyadh hosted a ministerial meeting of the international coalition to combat the so-called IS, under the chairmanship of both Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Blinken. (end)
