SEOUL, May 10 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Sameeh Hayat discussed with Deputy Minister for Political Affairs of the Korean Foreign Ministry Choi Young Sam Wednesday the latest political developments in the Middle East, and ways to enhance joint cooperation to boost peace and stability at the international level.
In a press statement, Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the meeting was held at the Korean Foreign Ministry and came on the occasion of launching the fourth round of political consultations between Kuwait and the Republic of Korea.
During the meeting, they reviewed the distinguished bilateral cooperation ties and ways to enhance them in the fields of oil, renewable energy, infrastructure and health, as well as discussing ways to promote trade and investment collaboration.
Ambassador Hayat held a meeting before the start of the political consultations round, with the Korean First Vice Foreign Minister Ambassador Chang Ho-jin, where he presented a letter from Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Sabah to his Korean counterpart Park Jin. (end) seo
