KUWAIT, April 1 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti company Agility posted net profits amounting to KD 68 million (USD 221.6 million) in 2022, with 26.83 fils profit per share.
The deputy chairman, Tareq Sultan, said in a press release that the earnings, without deducting interests, taxes and consumption costs, amounted to KD 180.5 million (USD 588.2 million) in 2022, increasing by 65.7 percent in contrast to 2021.
The company income, in 2022, reached KD 863.4 million (USD 2.8 billion), compared to KD 486.2 million (USD 1.5 billion) in 2021, hiking by 77.6 percent.
Net proceeds in 2022 reached KD 473.3 million (USD 1.5 billion) vis a vis KD 251.4 million (USD 819.3 million) in 2021 with an increase of 88.3 percent.
Agility, a Kuwaiti company, founded in 1979, was listed in Boursa Kuwait (the stock exchange) in 1984.
It is specialized in establishing, equipping, leasing warehouses and investments in financial portfolios. (end) md.rk
