PARIS, March 24 (KUNA) -- The state visit of King Charles III to France was put off after French trade union announced a plan to stage a nationwide strike next Tuesday in protest against the pension reforms.
The postponement of the visit followed a phone call between French President Emmanuel Macron and King Charles III earlier Friday, the Elysee Palace said in a statement.
The British monarch's visit, originally planned to take place on March 26-29, will be rescheduled as soon as possible, the statement noted. (pickup previous) ma.kn.hm
