1963 -- Kuwait Society of Lawyers was established with aim of regulating profession of lawyers and defending their rights.
1991 -- Kuwait local banks reopened following the liberation of State of Kuwait from Iraq's invasion and occupation.
1991 -- State of Kuwait began circulation of the fourth edition of the national currency following the liberation of the nation from Iraq's invasion and occupation. The difference between the third and fourth editions was in colors of banknotes.
1995 -- State of Kuwait and Republic of China signed an agreement to promote military cooperation. The deal was signed during a visit by Kuwait Defense Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Hmoud Al-Sabah to the Chinese capital, Beijing.
2016 -- Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) announced discovery of an oil field in the Jathatheel area, western Kuwait. (end) 2022 -- The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development signed a KD 35 (USD 115 million) loan agreement to finance the Gulf electrical interconnection system project. (end) aa
