ROME, Feb 15 (KUNA) -- Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Tajani said Wednesday that a cargo ship, carrying humanitarian aid would arrive at Beirut Port soon en route to the quake-struck people in northern Syria.
San Marco will anchor in Beirut in the coming few hours; it carries equipment necessary for sitting up a camp for 1,000 displaced person, the minister told the Italian Rai-1 TV channel.
In addition, Tajani said it is hard to reach some places in Syria at the same time, he thanks the effort of Italian Civil Protection Agency that participate aid in Antakya (Turkiye).
Tajani appreciate the effort of the Italian charge Affairs in Syria, which removed all the obstacles to let none-government aid reach the damage places that official government, cannot reach.
The Syrian Minister of Health Hassan Al-Ghabbash announced yesterday the final number of earthquake deaths reached 1414 and 2357 injured. (end)
