RIYADH, Feb 2 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jassem Mohammad Al-Budaiwi stressed the importance of strengthening the Gulf-French strategic partnership.
During his meeting with French Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna at the GCC HQ in Riyadh on Thursday, Al-Budaiwi said the partnership severs the common interests of both sides.
The meeting explored ways to enhance the GCC-French relations in all fields as per the joint action plan for 2023-2028, according to a statement from the GCC Secretariat.
Both sides also discussed a range of issues of common concern and the latest developments of the situations in the Gulf region and beyond. (end) mdm.gb
