RAMALLAH, Feb 2 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupation forces detained 29 Palestinians in multiple raids in the West Bank early Thursday, according to the Palestinian Prisoners Club.
Fifteen Palestinians, including at least eight teens aged 15-16, were detained from Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of the city of Ramallah, the club said in a press statement.
Other arrests took place in Nablus, Khalil (Hebron) and Tulkarm towns, it said, adding that some detainees and their families were beaten and their houses ransacked during the raids.
The number of Palestinians detained since Wednesday has risen to 40, it pointed out. (end) nq.mt
