KUWAIT, Jan 26 (KUNA) - More than 16 species of ducks crossed the Kuwaiti airspace throughout the different seasons, as Kuwait is one of the most important crossing points for these birds in the region.
Head of the Kuwait Environmental Lens team Rashed Al-Hajji told KUNA that ducks are social birds, existing in groups, and spending most of their time in the water.
Ducks prefer to live in warm areas and they're able to adapt in all regions, said Al-Hajji, pointing out that in their migration, they rely on the sun and the location of stars to help them find the warm areas. (end) mf.seo
