1973 -- Kuwait Industrial Bank is established with a KD ten million capital. The bank aims at supporting industrial enterprises and is the first of its kind for backing industrial development in the Arabian Gulf states.
1978 -- The National Cleaning Company is established for doing all cleaning tasks in the country.
1986 -- The Academic Publication Council is set up within Kuwait University for overseeing publication of scientific journals.
2003 -- The National Assembly approves a bill whereby allowing GCC citizens to acquire property.
2015 -- Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development inks an accord to lend Niger KD six million to fund a road project.
2016 -- KFAED inks an accord to lend Children Cancer Center in Lebanon USD one million.
2021 -- Students Ghada Al-Otaibi and Ghala Al-Enezi win gold medals in the GCC Arabic language competition. (end) rk
