RIYADH, Dec 5 (KUNA) -- The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) welcomes a framework deal signed by Sudan's political parties and military, paving the way for a civilian-led government that would guide the country towards elections, the bloc's chief said on Monday. The GCC "firmly backs" any measure intended to usher in peace and stability in Khartoum, Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf said in a statement, calling for more constructive dialogue among the parties involved to push the agreement forward.
