BEIRUT, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- The International Islamic Charity Organization (IICO) organized on Sunday a winter campaign to provide assistance to the Palestinian and Syrian refugees in Lebanon as well as the needy Lebanese families.
The campaign aims to help the vulnerable people overcome the coming weather conditions, Munira al-Sanan, the campaign's official, told KUNA.
The campaign was carried out by the IICO in cooperation with 20 Kuwaiti male and female volunteers who visited the refugees camps in some cities in Lebanon, she noted.
Al-Sanan added that winter bags were distributed to the refugees, in Sidon city, south of Lebanon, and some productive projects were carried out as well.
Three specialized medical devices like a digital panoramic imaging device, an ultrasound imaging device and a gastroscopy device were delivered to some clinics serving refugees in Sidon, she stated. (end) ayb.rj.hm
