CAIRO, Nov 23 (KUNA) -- Egypt and Greece signed on Wedneday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of air, sea search and rescue, within the framework of partnership and integration between the two countries.
The Egyptian Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, General Mohammad Zaki, and Greek Minister of Defense Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos signed the memorandum for providing all aspects of support between Egypt and Greece.
During the meeting, Lieutenant General Zaki expressed his pride in the partnership relation between Egyptian and Greek armed forces in various military fields, stressing the keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces to increase cooperation between the two friendly countries.
On his part, the Greek Minister of Defense expressed his full appreciation for Egypt's active role in regional and international domains, hoping that the next stage will witness more military cooperation for both countries. (end) asm.nhq
