WASHINGTON, Nov 22 (KUNA) -- The US urged Monday evening "de-escalation" in Syria and said it continues to oppose "any uncoordinated military action" in Iraq.
"We urge de-escalation in Syria to protect civilian life and support the common goal of defeating (IS)," State Department Spokesperson Ned Price said in a statement.
He added "we continue to oppose any uncoordinated military action in Iraq that violates Iraq's sovereignty." "The United States expresses its sincere condolences for the loss of civilian life in Syria and Turkiye," he remarked. (end) si.mt
