KUWAIT, Oct 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwait oil price rose by USD 2.35 TO USD 94.96 per barrel Wednesday vis a vis USD 92.61 pb Tuesday, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation said on Thursday.
In international markets, rate of the Brent crude oil rose by USD 1.57 to USD 93.37 a barrel and the West Texas Intermediate crude climbed by USD 1.24 to USD 87.76 a barrel.
The new rates came on the heels of a decision by key oil producing countries to increase the daily crude output by two million barrels per day.
Attending an OPEC+ meeting in Vienna yesterday where the decision had been taken, Kuwait's (former) Oil Minister Dr. Mohammad Al-Fares said the decision would have positive impact on oil markets. (end) km.rk
