BAGHDAD, Sept 28 (KUNA) -- Iraq's Foreign Ministry said it will summon the Iranian ambassador to Iraq to protest against the Iranian attacks on Kurdistan on Wednesday, which claimed the lives of nine people and injured 32 others.
In a press statement, the ministry vehemently condemned Iranian coordinated missile, artillery, and drone assaults on four sites in Kurdistan cities.
The ministry dubbed the attacks as a serious escalation that terrorizes innocent civilians, and threatens the security and sovereignty of Iraq.
It warned that these actions fuel tensions and complicate the region's security. (end) ahh.aai
