RAMALLAH, Aug 17 (KUNA) -- The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) confirmed Wednesday that three Palestinians were wounded after clashes at Balata refugee camp, eastern Nablus city.
Israeli occupation forces stormed the camp and arrested 40 others in the West Bank.
Three young men shot with live ammunition in Balata camp, who were transferred to Rafidia Hospital in Nablus, PRCS said in a press statement.
The Palestinian Prisoner's Society said that it recorded 40 arrests carried out by the occupation forces in the West Bank.
It said in a separate statement that the forces arrested 23 men in Tuqu, a town near Bethlehem, and 12 others in the town of Yabad, west of Jenin, in addition to five others in the governorates of Nablus along with Ramallah and Al-Bireh. (end) nq.lr
