RAMALLAH, July 6 (KUNA) -- Israeli occupying forces shot dead a Palestinian young man in Jaba Town in southern West Bank early morning, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
"Rafiq Ghannam fell martyred in Jaba in Jenin by Israeli occupation fire," the ministry said in a press statement.
Ghannam was arrested before he died of wounds he sustained after having been shot by Israeli occupation forces during incursions into Jaba Town in the West Bank.
Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces arrested more than 40 Palestinians when they broke into Silwad Town in eastern Ramallah City early Wednesday.
The arrests were carried out in the governorates of Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Jenin, Al-Khalil and Jerusalem, the Palestinian Prisoners Club said in a statement. (end) nq.mt
