KUWAIT, July 1 (KUNA) -- Five Kuwaiti firefighters were wounded while trying to put a fire at a warehouse of Mina Abdullah scrapyard under control on Friday, according to the Public Fire Force.
In a press statement, the force said its firefighters stationed at nearby fire centers moved immediately as soon as it was informed about a blaze at a cable and utensil warehouse at Mina Abdullah scrap area.
Five firefighters were wounded while trying to set out the conflagration, it said, adding that they were given first aid by medical emergency teams. (end) ok.mt
