KUWAIT, June 29 (KUNA) -- Bahrain and Egypt signed on Wednesday a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding in various domain, within framework of the current visit by Egyptian President Abdelfattah Al-Sisi to Manama.
Bahrain News Agency (BNA) said the accords were inked during a ceremony overseen by president Al-Sisi and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa as well as the Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
The two sides signed an agreement for forming a joint commission for cooperation at the commercial, economic, scientific and technological levels, along with a protocol for legal and judicial cooperation with a MoU for boosting trade and holding fairs.
They have also signed executive programs for cooperation in education and environment protection and an accord for cooperation between the governorates of Manama and Cairo.
The king and the Egyptian president earlier held talks on means of boosting cooperation in various fields. (end) mab.rk
