RIYADH, June 29 (KUNA) -- Officials of the electronic media in the GCC states have approved a five-year plan for cooperation in the realm of electronic information.
The GCC Secretariat General said in a statement, released on Wednesday, that the blueprint was agreed upon at the seventh meeting of these officials, virtually held on Tuesday.
The conferees had also examined implementation of previously issued recommendations and ideas for bolstering cooperation at the electronic media level.
The GCC, established in the early 80s of the past century, comprises Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. (end) mdm.rk
