KUWAIT, June 28 (KUNA) -- Oman and Egypt signed a number of memorandums of understanding, agreements and programs in different fields, as part of the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi's visit to the sultunate.
According to ONA on Tuesday, Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi signed the agreements with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry.
The two sides signed memorandums of understanding on prohibiting monopolistic practice, as well as on promoting investment.
The memorandums also included the environmental field, boosting exports, marine transportation, youth, sports and scientific research.
ONA added that the two officials said the agreements will enhance bilateral ties on different levels.
Al-Sisi arrived in Oman earlier on Monday in a two-day visit, as part of his official tour that also includes Bahrain. (end) mab.ag
