DOHA, June 28 (KUNA) -- Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammmad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani discussed the latest developments of Iran's nuclear deal negotiations, along with French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, Tuesday.
The state-run news agency (QNA) mentioned that importance of regional dialogue with Iran was affirmed during a phone call between the two top diplomats, as well as discussions of recent developments of Russia-Ukraine crisis and the situation in Libya and Lebanon.
In relation to the Russia-Ukraine crisis, the Qatari foreign minister reiterated his country's call for resolving the situation through dialogue, diplomatic means, dispute settlement through peaceful means and refraining from further escalation.
He renewed Qatar's full support to Libyan political path and relevant Security Council resolutions to safeguard Libyan unity, stability and sovereignty, and achieve the aspirations of its people.
The two sides also handled bilateral cooperation especially in terms of developing fields of investments between the two nations. (end) nnd.aai
