NEW DELHI, June 27 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Al-Kuwait SC defeated Iran's Mes Kerman (30-17) in the third match of Group B in the 24th Asian Men's Club League Handball Championship held in Indian city of Hyderabad.
In another match today, Al-Najma club of Bahrain maintained draw against al-Wakrah club of Qatar (24-24) to remain in top position of the group with five points and seven-goal difference.
Al-Najma had defeated earlier Iran's Mes Kerman (31-25) and Al-Kuwait (30-29).
Al-Kuwait are occupying the second position in the group with four points and 22 goal difference as they had defeated Qatar's Al-Wakrah (33-23) and went down to al-Najma (29-30) and defeated Mes Kerman of Iran (30-17).
Kuwait's Qadsia SC are leading Group A with five points and 21 goal difference after defeating Qatari counterparts al-Arabia (24-16) and T-Sports of India (37-24) and maintaining draw against Saudi's Al-Noor (29-29) in earlier matches.
Qatar's al-Arabia came in the second position with four points and 16-goal difference after defeating Al-Noor of Saudi Arabia (29-24) and T-Sports of India (38-19) in earlier matches. Saudi's Al-Noor are in the third position with three points and two goals while T-Sports are placed last with zero point and 39 negative goals. (end) atk.gta
