ADEN, June 25 (KUNA) -- Spokesman of the Yemeni Army Brig. Abdo Magly said Saturday the Houthi militias violated the UN-brokered truce 1,700 times in six governorates over the past 23 days.
The Armed Forces managed to repel these violations on all frontlines, he said in a press release by the Army's media center.
Under the instructions of the political and military leaders, the regular troops maintained commitment to the truce deal which was extended for two months starting from June 2, Brig Magly affirmed.
The army had previously said the Houthi militia committed 3,200 breaches of the deal in the first phase of its implementation between early April and late May. (end) gb
