KUWAIT, May 23 (KUNA) -- The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on Monday resumption of traffic in Kuwait International Airport at 5:50 pm local-time after it halted for two hours and a half due to the dust storm that struck the country this afternoon.
The arriving and departing flights have been rescheduled, Deputy Director General for Air Navigation Services Affairs at DGCA Emad Al-Juluwi said in remarks to KUNA.
The weather conditions in the country was affected by the dust storm, which caused low visibility to less than 500 meters in some areas, accompanied with active fast winds that reached more than 60 kilometers per hour. (pickup previous) aam.lb
