KUWAIT, March 22 (KUNA) -- First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior (ret. General) Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah stressed Tuesday depth of relations between State of Kuwait and the United States of America.
This came in a Ministry of Interior's statement, quoting the First Deputy Prime Minister as saying during a meeting with Deputy Chief of Mission at US Embassy in Kuwait, James Holtsnider, and his accompanying delegation.
The talks between the two sides dealt with a number of issues of common interest, especially those related to the security aspect and ways of strengthening relations between the two countries.
For his part, Holtsnider stressed the importance of the topics discussed, expressing his country's hope for more cooperation and coordination with Kuwait. (end) ak.aab.sam
