BAGHDAD, Jan 16 (KUNA) -- At least two people were wounded when two bombs exploded in two banks in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, Iraqآ’s security authorities said in Sunday.
The first blast targeted Jihan Bank near the National Theater, while the other hit Kurdistan Bank, the authorities added in a statement.
The two bombings came amid the rising bomb attacks that recently targeted partiesآ’ headquarters and politiciansآ’ houses, in addition to the Green Zone and the Iraqi military bases.
There is no claim of responsibility for the blasts so far, whereas the government did not accused any party of being behind the attacks. (end) ahh.sam.hm
