AMMAN, Jan 3 (KUNA) -- The visiting Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan said on Monday "the Arabs' hand will be extended toward Iran if it responds to tackle Arab issues related to stability and security of the region." Speaking at a news conference with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Al-Safadi, Prince Bin Farhan stated, "Our hands as Arabs are extended toward the brothers in Iran if they respond to the efforts to tackle Arab affairs concerning the region security and stability." The Saudi foreign minister said his talks with minister Al-Safadi addressed Iran's role "that has been destabilizing stability and security of the region and the world," adding that "there was an affirmation on the necessity of intensifying the efforts to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear arms and clearing the Middle East of weapons of mass destruction." He lauded Jordan's role against terrorist attacks targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militias. (end) ab.rk
