DOHA, Nov 30 (KUNA) -- Tunisia's soccer team on Tuesday beat Mauritanian counterparts 5.1 in the competitions of the first round in the Arab football cup -- precursor for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Group-4 that includes the two teams also include the UAE and Syria, due to face off later today.
Official inauguration of the championship is due to kick off with a match pitting Qatar against Bahrain later on Tuesday.
The championship is scheduled to proceed until December 18 -- with participation of 16 teams playing under FIFA'S auspices. (end) nnd.rk
